Over the last two decades Eric Ambel has made his mark as a producer, bandleader and musician. He first surfaced as the original guitarist with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts and his playing can be heard on some of her greatest songs. He then co-founded the semi-legendary 80’s band The Del-Lords, recording numerous albums and touring the world. As a producer some of his best work has been with artists like The Bottle Rockets, Nils Lofgren, Freedy Johnston, The Backsliders, Mary Lee’s Corvette and Blue Mountain. Eric also toured and recorded extensively with Steve Earle over the last 7 years and has recently produced up and coming artists The Travelling Band, Mark McKay, The Dirty 30’s and Spanking Charlene, as well as recording a great new record and touring with his band The Yayhoo’s.
