The Long Way (Columbia) and
mixed Wilco's Sky
Blue Sky (Nonesuch) and Lavender
Diamond's Imagine Our
Love (Matador/Rough Trade) both
released this past May.
Jim engineered and mixed Revival, the forth-coming
album by John Fogerty (Concord), due this October,
and is also co-producing, engineering and mixing a
new album from Kathleen Edwards (Rounder). He’s
currently engineering and mixing an album for Outernational (Warner Bros.), which is being produced by Tom Morello
of Rage Against The Machine and mixed tracks on the
forthcoming album from Travis
Tritt (Sony).
Jim's past credits include recording and mixing multiple
albums with Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tom
Petty and
mixing albums and tracks from artists as diverse as
Matchbox 20, The Foo Fighters,
John Fogerty, Natalie Merchant, Michelle Branch, Dave
Matthews, Lisa Marie Presley, Lucinda Williams, The
Jayhawks, Johnny Cash and Sting. Jim has won 6 Grammy’s for his engineering
work over the last 10 years.
